Carolyn Hannan, Owner

My earliest memories are growing up in family business. My dad owned and operated a manufacturing plant and my mom owned and operated a drapery business. Raising my two kids at Lady Bear is a dream come true. So many life lessons are taught and confidence is built  for kids in an entrepreneurial setting.

I have folded perfect t-shirts at the Gap, organized shoes at Nine West, made perfect lattes in countless coffeeshops, cooked all the food, washed all the dishes and mopped all the floors in all the commercial kitchens. I have planned a million events and organized a trillion giving events. I do all the graphic design and website building. I have led teams doing millions in annual revenue, I've served on many non-profit boards, and I've won awards for innovative work I've done.

I love working smart (not hard). I love small businesses and I love entrepreneurship. I love my family. I am so excited to share my vision of Lady Bear Resale with you in the coming years. Thank you for visiting with us!

I really enjoy hiking.

I love Lady Bear because of the quality finds for mama and littles. I especially like reusing items
and encouraging more thoughtful consumerism in our community.

Shayna Hale, Assistant Store Manager

As a nanny of 15 years, I have a natural passion for all things family and child. Being a part of the Lady Bear Squad is very exciting. I love getting to know the Louisville locals and learning about their Grandchildren or pregnancy! Helping our customers find the perfect item is one of my favorite things.

Being a California native in a Kentucky world, I love hearing where everyone is from!

Come see me at Lady Bear and let me help you find the perfect treasure for you or your tribe!
